membership Terms and Conditions

1. Membership is open to EVERYONE BETWEEN THE AGES OF 18 YEARS AND 74 YEARS.

2. NON REFUNDABLE mEMBERSHIP FEE IS r150.00 PER PERSON PER MONTH. MEMBERSHIP FEE FOR PERSONS ABOVE 64 YEARS IS R190.00 PER MONTH.

3. ENTREPRENEURS WILL FORTFEIT THEIR MONTHLY PAYMENTS SHOULD MONTHLY INSTALLMENTS BE NOT HONOURED.

4. MEMBERSHIP NUMBER WILL BE ISSUED upon recieving the application form and THE INITIAL membership fee. THE ENTREPRENEUR WILL BE PLACED ON THE WAITING LIST FOR STOCK OR FOR CONTAINER OR FOR TUCKSHOP REBRANDING. membership certificate will be issued ONCE THE MEMBERSHIP FEE HAS BEEN PAID.

5. MEMBERS WLL ONLY QUALIFY FOR STOCK OR CONTAINER ONCE THE FULL MEMBERSHIP FEE HAS BEEN PAID.

6. MEMBERS ARE REQUIRED TO PUT THEIR CELLPHONE NUMBERS AS A REFERENCE NUMBER WHEN REGISTERING AND MAKING MONTHLY PAYMENTS.

7. Failure to make the monthly contribution will result in penalties. memberS may have a two-month grace period to skip paymentS without penalty; such member must however make a written application to the Board of Directors for permission to skip MONTHLY FEE.

8. A member may not apply for two grace periods in one calendar year. From the third month onwards, members will be liable to pay the outstanding amount plus 10% interest on all outstanding amounts. Should a member fail to make monthly contribution on month four then membership may/WILL be forfeited.

9. THE MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP FEE WILL AUTOMATICALLY ENABLE AGCTA MEMBERS TO QUAILIFY FOR A MALI YAMI FUNERAL CASH COVER OF R10 000.00. THE FUNERAL COVER WILL COME INTO EFFECT ON THE 3RD MONTH OF REGISTERING WITH AGCTA AND PAYING THE MONTHLY FEE OF r150.00.

10. APPLICATION FORMS OF THE FUNERAL COVER ARE ATTACHED IN ANNEXURE a. MEMBERS MUST READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE FUNERAL COVER AND SIGN THE MALI YAMI FUNERAL COVER APPLICATION FORM.

11. oNCE MEMBERS LOOSE THEIR MEMBERSHIP, SERVICES AND BENEFITS PROVIDED BY AGCTA WILL BE TERMINATED. THE FUNERAL COVER WILL ALSO BE TERMINATED. MEMBERS WILL NEED TO START A NEW APPLICATION.

12. Members should have common goals and objectives as to that of agcta.

13. Members are required to attend ONLINE meetingS monthly.

14. Members must actively participate in the development and growth of the ASSOCIATION; this includes mobilizing for new members and or Customers for products and ITS services.

15. Beneficiaries - Members may nominate their own beneficiaries who will be able to continue with THEIR membership in the event THE member becomes incapacitated or passes on. Beneficiaries may also serve on the committees as well as on the ASSOCIATION structures on behalf of the members.

16. Meetings - Meetings are mandatory for all members. Meetings will be hosted virtually for members in remote areas. If a member cannot make it to a meeting, the individual should notify the organization in time either via WhatsApp or telephone call. If a member fails to attend 3 consecutive meetings without formal written excuse and/or notification; then membership will/may be terminated upon the decision of the disciplinary committee AND/OR THE BOARD.

17. MEMBERS MUST PLACE ORDERS FOR TUCKSHOP STOCK/PRODUCTS THROUGH THE AGCTA AS LONG AS THEY ARE MEMBERS OF THE ASSOCIATION. MEMBERS ARE EXPECTED TO PLACE THEIR ORDERS WEEKLY AND/ OR MONTHLY.MEMBERS ARE EXPECTED TO PLACE ORDERS FOR NEW STOCK 4-6 WEEKS AFTER GETTING THEIR START UP STOCK AD OR CONTAINER.

18. members must open mali yami business bank accounts in order to benefit from the association and in order to get financial assistance through the association’s stakeholders.

19. members must allow agcta branding on their tuckshop both on and off BUSINESS premises.

20. mEMBERS MUST SIGN AN NDA WITH THE ASSOCIATION TO ENSURE THAT TRADE SECRETS, BUSINESS MODELS,METHODS, PATENTS, TRADEMARKS, STAKEHOLDERS, AND ETC ARE PROTECTED AT ALL TIMES.
